GoGoSafari is a sculpture trail mainly in Norwich but also there are five sculptures spread across Norfolk up to Hunstanton.
It has its own website – accessible HERE It’s on from the 23 June to 30 August 2025.
GoGoSafari is organised by Wild in Art along with many other similar installations. They work with charities to devise and install such installations of statues which are sponsored and, at the end of the trail time, sold to aid the charity.
Further information can be obtained on their website – HERE

GoGoSafari filled the streets with a spectacular herd of gorillas, rhinos, giraffes, lions, and elephants.
The 51 large sculptures were joined by over 60 Mini Gs – adorable little giraffes – which were hidden inside venues across the city!
Luckily either we found these venues to be open or their giraffes were placed so that they could be seen through a window.
When we did the trail at the end of July there were actually a total of 120 animals to spot.
We stayed in Norwich for two days and then travelled across Norfolk to Hunstanton for a further day. I’m pleased to say that we “collected” them all. See the screenshot on the left. To collect an animal you had to add the unique serial number found at the base of the statue to the App. The screenshot on the right shows that all the various animals were collected.

As you can also see from the screenshot above left – the App thought we did 22,275 steps!
O
The screenshot on the left shows that all animals, except the Norfolk Five, were in Norwich. The map on the left includes the Norfolk Five.

.If you click on one of the pictures below you’ll see a larger version and you’ll be able to scroll through all the pictures.
The animals all have names, they’re not easy to correlate but I’ll endevour to add those shortly.
