The videos and screenshots below show exactly what happens when the device starts and reboots.
TomtomVideo1 – This video shows me switching it on. It shows what the Satnav does until it stops at the “connect me to PC” screen. This is what happens every time it’s switched on – it never gets to the satnav screens.
TomtomScreenshot1 – this is the MyDrive Connect initial screen showing that the SatNav is connected – it shows its serial number.
TomtomScreenshot2 – this is MyDrive Connect screen with the Satnav selected but not yet connected.
TomtomVideo2 – This shows the MyDrive Connect screen when the Satnav is connected. Firstly the “connecting” message appears top left with the spinning disc then the “restoring” screen appears and counts up to 100%. When it reaches 100% this screen closes.
Note: It never does “restore!”
TomtomVideo3 – this shows what happens to the satnav once the MyDrive Connect screen gets to 100% restored.
As you’ll see it eventually gets to the “connect me to the PC” screen yet again!
It never, ever gets past this!
